Saguaro at Sundown
Inspired by Vincent van Gogh

Every stroke in the painting chapters is a real recorded brush mark from Arthaus’s native replay.

Notes from the canvas
- **Ground:** warm ochre-brown. - **First marks (299–574):** dark olive ovals low in the middle (299–324, the shrubs), a grey-violet oval (349), golden ovals upper left (374), an orange oval upper right (399), a cobalt corner at the top right (474), then bright orange and yellow-orange at the right (499–574). - **Time-lapse (614–854):** by 614 orange and gold patches fill the sky with a yellow glow at the right. By 664 a **tall dark-green column** rises left of centre, a **yellow sun disc** sits on a **violet mountain band**, and the sky is orange. By 854 the detail is in: the saguaro with raised arms, smaller saguaros, yellow-green palo verde, an ochre slope, and diagonal dashes all through the sky. - **Refine (999–1399):** the big saguaro's **ribs sharpen into vertical strokes**, the arms round out, the sky dashes lean one way, and the slope breaks into short strokes. - **Touches (1404–1575):** small hero marks. A **green touch lands on the big saguaro's trunk at frame 1456** (x 0.32, y 0.61 from top; spec focus [0.323, 0.39]). Others: orange on the slope (1404), cobalt on the rocks (1417), orange-yellow and lemon in the sky near the sun (1469, 1495), crimson on the mountains (1482).
